There is very little information available about Selena Gomez’s third solo studio album, including no known title or release date, though it will be releasing on Interscope Records.
On June 10, 2019, Gomez confirmed the album is “finally done”. On June 12th, 2019, she said the following about the album in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:
I have to do a few finishing things with it but I’m just relieved. It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album. And it’s just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that ‘how was I going to capture that?’ and ‘how was I going to actually feel good about what I was saying?’ So, I just kept going, and I’m relieved.”
She revealed in the same interview that her music will always contain a “sense of strong pop.” However, with this album she explored more with electric and acoustic guitar and a more soulful sound:
It all kind of hits different places that I feel like is my lane of music.
Three songs have been officially released so far, including “Bad Liar,” “Fetish,” and “Wolves.” The track “Stained” leaked on the day that “Fetish” was released. While assumed to appear on the album, the leak caused concern that it won’t make it to the final tracklist.
The final tracklisting is unconfirmed. It is compiled of recent singles, snippets, and song titles sourced from streaming services and social media. The tracklist will be updated when more information becomes available.
